Yes. We'll let you know where those areas are at check-in. Showers and restrooms for campers are available in multiple buildings on-site. Personal tent spots are on a first-come first-choice basis.
We usually have over 200 guys every year.
The short answer is "no." Naked Yoga Camp is a clothing optional event, there is no pressure to be naked for the weekend but you CAN be naked if you want 24/7 anywhere on-site except the dining hall and the gym. Thank you!
The focus of Naked Yoga Camp is joining the mind, body, and spirit through Yoga practice, creative self-expression, and community building. We simply require that visitors are respectful of others at all times. Get consent before touching, kissing or hugging. Sexual activity outdoors in open areas is discouraged.
In short, no. While some people do bring alcohol to the retreat and choose to drink at various social gatherings, this is not, by any means, the focus of the retreat. Please note that no outside alcoholic beverages are allowed in the dining hall.
In the past, our yoga camp has had great diversity in age-range. We have a good spread of guys ranging from their 20's to their 80's
Check-in for the retreat is from 3pm on Friday (5/24). We know you'll be excited about this amazing weekend but please DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 3pm. Check-out is by Noon on Monday (5/27), NO EXCEPTIONS. We must be off the property by then so they can get ready for the next event.
It's Texas so the weather is hot in late May - typically in the upper 80's to low 90's during the day. At night, expect lows in the low 70s (but it can get cooler) so you may want a light cover up. Spring storms are likely so bring an umbrella or poncho just in case. We recommend checking the weather for the long range forecast for Woodcreek, TX prior to packing for your trip.
Eight meals are included in your ticket price: Friday - Dinner (5:30p to 7p) |Saturday - Breakfast (7:30a to 9a), Lunch (12p to 1p), Dinner (5:30p to 7p) | Sunday - Breakfast (7:30a to 9a), Lunch (12p to 1p), Dinner (5:30p to 7p) | Monday - Breakfast (7:30a to 9a).
Please note: All dining facilities are Kosher. No outside food is allowed in the dining room or in the outdoor kitchen. Thanks for your cooperation.
There may be some attendees who are under 21.
Make sure you do not provide alcohol to a minor.
No pictures, please.
If you get an erection out in the open during camp, no problem. However, take any sexual activity indoors.
Although there are no designated RV spaces, there should be ample space to park your RV. Please note: There are no services (water/electric) and no dumping allowed.
Naked Yoga Camp is a male only event. However, some of the on-site support staff may identify as female.
There are restrooms and showers and wi-fi throughout the retreat site. There are also plenty of buildings with electricity where you can charge your cell phones. Classes will be held in both indoor, air-conditioned facilities and outdoor spaces. There are water fountains and water bottle refill stations in most buildings.
We highly recommend renting a car.
Yoga Camp is open to ALL levels of yogis! Each class is designed with multiple levels in mind so that all can enjoy. Don't worry, if you are a beginner at yoga, you will not be alone.
If you're staying in a tent or a bunkhouse, you'll need to bring your own sheets and pillows. Bunkhouse guys can rent a set of sheets and pillows at the retreat for $15. Please let us know ahead of time via email if you're interested in renting linens.
Smoking is NOT permitted in any building, the front porches of any buildings or anywhere other than the designated location. If you are found smoking in any buildings (or the evidence thereof) or leave cigarette butts on the ground, you will be asked to leave, fined $1,000 per incident, and will not be able to attend camp in the future.
